JUmp to the end!!! Good photography, Pete!
Here's what I did. I slid the sunroof panel in and adjusted those sheet metal screws until it was at the correct height. I then took a tube of Permatex adhesive silacone sealant and filled in the cap between the sunroof and the roof of the car all the way around.
The weather stripping then got crammed into the gap with the permatex. I stuck the little flat part first. It oozed out a little and I had to press the weatherstripping all the way in. Once it was in, I went around and evened it up. I took some citrus degreaser and a good rag and cleaneed off all the other spooged permatex. The cool thing is that the degreaser was good enough that it took off a lot of the overspray from all the rust neutralizer, encapsulator, primer and krylon. This photo was actually taken before I evened things up and cleaned up all the oozing permatex.
