Finally the sunroof project begins. I did a few things before I got this far. I cut out the headliner. It came out easily. It was disgusting and needed to go. The back part of the roof is flaking paint bigtime and will need to be addressed soon. Taking off the inside of the sunroof panel reveals 4 philips-head screws at the front of the sunroof panel. Remove those and the panel slides right out.

On the outside of the car, there are a bunch of short, sheet metal screws holding the tracks in. There are close to a dozen of these little things. ONce they're out, the tracks lift right out.

That left me with the beautiful stuff you see above. How do you like the duct tape? Looks damn good, eh? I completely agree. It is disgusting.
